FELTING WORKS Wool | Flax | Ramie | Mulberry silk | Mohair February 2024. Art was a refuge of comfort after my mother’s death. I usually worked with cool, somewhat detached materials, such as medicines, (bio)plastics or plaster. Or I used digital techniques. Now I wanted to feel warmth and softness and I started felting. Small sketches, in black and white, great contrast. With wool, flax and ultra-soft mulberry silk. Slowly, this process evolved into a whole new direction in my work.
