"Only in art
will the lion
lie down with the lamb,
and the rose grow
without the thorn"
~ Martin Amis

When I got my garden there were several rose bushes, which I cherish up until this day. I curse the thorns, but more often I sink away in their beauty. A rose is actually like a lion for the animal kingdom: the ruler of a garden. Above all, they are a great source of inspiration.
